Barbeque Nation's B'wood inspired fest has all the filmy masala you can imagine

New Delhi [India], Jan 05 (ANI): Barbeque Nation, one of India's leading casual dining restaurant chains invites diners for 'Blockbuster Barbeques' - a Bollywood themed festival from December 22 - January 8.

The decor, menu and activities at all Barbeque Nation outlets in Delhi (Connaught Place, Jangpura, Saket, Vasant Kunj, Pitampura, Janakpuri, Vivek Vihar, Noida, Faridabad, Sohna Road and Sushant Lok) will reflect the Bollywood theme.

In line with the theme, dishes have been named after popular movies, legendary movie dialogues and beloved movie characters. Vegetarians can begin their meal with Bajirao Mastani Ka Khumb - succulent mushrooms tossed in an interesting mix of whole spices and Paneer Singh Tomar - soft, creamy paneer tikka infused with Rajasthani flavours.

For meat lovers, starters include EkThaMurga - deliciously spiced tender chicken, grilled to perfection and Gulab Gang Mutton - mutton mince mixed with spices and fried to form delicious, melt in the mouth seekh kababs.

For main course, Bollywood buffs can choose from interesting dishes like Subz Hera Pheri -a medley of mixed vegetables cooked with spices and Anarkali Macchi - fresh fish in a delicately sweet and tangy curry with pomegranate flavours.

Guests can satiate their sweet tooth with decadent desserts like Angoori Gulab Jamoon, Phirnee, Caramel Pudding and Chocolate Carrot Cake, among others.

The waiters can be seen in outfits inspired by popular Bollywood movie characters from movies like 'Dabangg', 'PK' and 'Chennai Express'. Waiters also perform shortdance sequences to popular Bollywood songs. Diners can take pictures in a photo-booth which will resemble the award stage for movie awards.

Speaking on the new concept, Mr. Sameer Bhasin, Chief Executive Officer, Barbeque Nation Hospitality Ltd., said, "The idea is to recreate the ambience of Bollywood and incorporate the love for iconic movies into this carnival. At Barbeque Nation, customer feedback and satisfaction play a vital role in our event planning and Blockbuster Barbecue is one such endeavour for our Bollywood loving diners. We want to capture the holiday rush by offering our customers an interesting experience. Through Blockbuster Barbeque, we hope to give our guests a dining experience that is full of fun and good food."

Barbeque Nation is a pioneer in India to promote 'DIY' (do-it-yourself) cuisine with a concept of live on-the-table grill, since its first store in Mumbai in 2006.(ANI)
