Mumbai, Aug. 5 (ANI): The president of the Maharashtra unit of the Samajwadi Party, Abu Azmi, on Friday cautioned Pakistan to stay within its political and geographical limits and not attempt to disturb peace and tranquility in India.

He also said that Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, who has just a concluded a two-day visit to Islamabad, could have been more emphatic in his criticism of Pakistan with regard to the latter not doing enough to curb terrorist activity from its soil.

"The people of Pakistan should stay within their limits and should not try to disturb peace and tranquillity in India or try to harm the economic growth of India. I want to convey it to Nawaz Sharif that Kashmir is an integral part of India and Kashmiris are Indian citizens. You should not bother for us, rather take care of issues of your own country. ," Azmi told ANI.

During his terse speech, Singh launched a veiled attack on Pakistan, saying mere condemnation of terrorism and individual acts by terrorists was not enough.

He categorically stated that there is no good or bad terrorist. Singh said that strongest action should be initiated not only against terrorists but also against organizations, individuals and nations supporting terror.

However, Singh's speech during the meet was blacked out. Members of the Indian media, who had come from New Delhi to report on the conference, were not allowed to cover the speech. They were reportedly kept at a distance by Pakistani officials.

Some reports said that there was an aggressive verbal exchange between officials of the two sides over the issue. Only Pakistan state PTV was allowed to cover introductory speeches of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan. Even private Pakistani media not allowed to cover the event. (ANI)
