B P Singh to be new Chief Secretary of Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], Oct. 27 (ANI): Basant Pratap Singh, a 1984 batch IAS officer of the Madhya Pradesh cadre, will be the new chief secretary of the state.

Currently, Singh is with the Home Department as Additional Chief Secretary and will take charge from November 1.

The current Chief Secretary, Anthony de Sa, is retiring on October 31. (ANI)
