Three Army officers killed as chopper crashes in WB's Sukna

Sukna (West Bengal) [India], Nov. 30 (ANI): At least three officers were killed and one Junior Commissioned Officer ( JCO) was injured after the Indian Army's Cheetah Chopper crashed in West Bengal's Sukna district on Wednesday.

Both pilots sustained critical injuries in the accident, which took place at around 10:30 a.m.

It was a routine mission operating from Sukna and the crash took place when the chopper was about to land.

The crash site is inside the Sukna military base, near the helipad.

On a similar note, three army officers were killed after their Cheetah helicopter crashed in Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, earlier on October 1. (ANI)
