Embrace who you are and what you are, confidence is all that matters to carve your identity and niche. Designer clothing should come in all sizes why just for a certain body type? Why must plus size women not be categorised as models? This initiative by Lakme Fashion Week shows us what beauty is all about and is true women empowerment in all senses. Women all over are breaking barriers, setting themselves free and are all geared up to cherish being themselves, being us! Remember happy girls are the prettiest!"
Shilpa Chavan, the designer said, "As someone who has never followed trends, and designed and created on intuition, I fail to understand how fashion gets licensed to decide what's less or more. Beauty truly lies within and there is no better way to affirm this than with a plus size show with aLL at LakmeFashion Week. I am excited and above all proud to be involved in this movement of sorts."

I'm certain the show will prove to be a great success."
Lubna Adams, fashion choreographer, said, "It's a superb initiative by Lakme Fashion Week
to have a plus size show. It's about time, the focus shifted from zero to plus of the real world. Fashion needs to be for everyone and I'm sure every real woman out there is going to love this acceptance on the LFW platform."
