RISE INDIA, NSDC together launch largest 'National Driving Training Initiative'

New Delhi [India], Oct 15 (ANI): RISE INDIA, a strategic investment firm contributing to Skill Development and Education across India is launching a first-ever campaign to promote driving training in the country.

RISE INDIA is bringing the public and private industry together to help create a robust eco system for skill development and training.

RISE INDIA is collaborating with companies such as TATA Motors, Ola, and Shri Ram Transporting - one of the biggest public-private partnerships, with intent to boost driving training and generate more employment in the driving sector.

In the next seven years, RISE INDIA will be providing effective training to over 2.5 lakh candidates and simultaneously up skill another 2.5 lakh existing drivers, raising awareness on crucial issues such as road safety, and technically advanced driving skills.

The preeminent organization will be setting up over 50 centers in various locations including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Rajasthan.

Under the National Driving Training Initiative, the first centre will be launched at Chhapra, Bihar on 17th October and inaugurated by Nitin Gadkari, Minister for Road Transport and Highways and Shipping and Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship.

When it comes to road safety, there is a lack of awareness among drivers. Tapping this potential need for innovative driving training, RISE INDIA, one of the largest organizations providing Driving Training in India, offers effective and comprehensive driving training, promoting holistic development of individuals.

Driving training is an important sector, which not only leads to employment and self-employment, but also enhances road safety, ensuring social mobility and economic progress of the nation.

"We need commitments from corporate to help Skill India reach to the rural and economically underprivileged people of our country. Also, we need more partners like RISEINDIA to come forward and help us empower the youth through education, training, skill and entrepreneurship development. This is certainly going to be a good example of a public private partnership for many," said Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

"We are immensely proud to participate in this campaign. This first-of-its-kind campaign will not only contribute to the Prime Minister's Skill India Mission, but also create a robust skill ecosystem for the youth. Together with NSDC, ASDC and our corporate partners such as TATA Motors, Ola and Shri Ram Transport, we will enhance the capacities of driving training centers/programmes across the country to provide effective training and development in the country," said CEO RISE INDIA, Ajay Chhangani.

So far, the company has accomplished skilling nearly one lakh candidates across India, with a presence in over 10 states, 85 Skill development centers and smart classes in over 100 school campuses. RISE INDIA has also established the largest "only women" residential training center at Jaipur with a capacity of 400 students.

Through its ventures, RISE INDIA has succeeded in the training and placement of students in sectors such as retail, IT, BSFI, construction, driving, and renewable energy. Since its incorporation in 2012, RISE INDIA has witnessed an escalated growth with employee strength of over 300 and a PAN India presence, distinguishing itself from its contemporaries. (ANI)
