Law enforces arrest JMB 'sleeper cell' militants in Dhaka

Dhaka, Aug. 10 (ANI): At least six members of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) were arrested by Law enforcers in Dhaka on Wednesday.

The law enforces also recovered firearms and explosives from their possession.

The arrestees include Mostafizur Rahman alias Sifat, 27, an alleged administrator of At-Tamkin website which is said to be run by the outfit.

Others have been identified as Jahid Anwar alias Parag, 22, Nayon Hossain, 21, Jahid Hasan alias Mayeen, 21, Ziabul Huq alais Zia, 24, and Tazul Islam alias Tazul, 29 who are said to be the "sleeper cell" members.

They were arrested during drives carried out by Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) last night.

Meanwhile, a Rapid Action Battalion member will later in day brief press about the arrest. (ANI)
