Nepal- China holds discussions on bilateral cooperation in Bejing

Kathmandu, Aug. 16 (ANI): Nepal's Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Krishna Bahadur Mahara on Tuesday met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and held extensive discussions on bilateral cooperation and mutual interests between the two countries in Beijing.

Mahara, is on a five-day official visit to China as special envoy of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

According to the statement by Nepali Embassy in China, both ministers held discussions at Chinese Foreign Ministry in Beijing and held an extensive discussion on bilateral cooperation and mutual interests, reports the Kathmandu Post.

Mahara also handed over the invitation letters to Wang, sent by President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to their counterparts.

Wang also hosted a luncheon in honour of visiting Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister. (ANI)
