Afghanistan: Eight border policemen killed by Taliban in Torkham

Kabul [Afghanistan], Oct. 25 (ANI): At least eight border policemen have reportedly been killed in a Taliban attack on a police check post in Torkham on Monday night.

According to a source, the attack took place at around 8 p m local time after insurgents stormed the Khaibar check post in Torkham and shot dead eight border policemen, reports the Tolo News.

All the equipment at the check post was seized by the Taliban.

However, the source claimed that reinforcements were able to re-take control of the check post after a few hours.

Till now no comments have been made the Security officials regarding the attack. (ANI)
