India aiming to implode Pakistan to sabotage moves against corruption, says Imran Khan

Islamabad [Pakistan], Oct.25 (ANI): Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday blamed India for creating chaos in Pakistan to sabotage moves against corruption.

The Express Tribune quoted the PTI chief, as saying, "A new doctrine has originated in India which aims to implode Pakistan because they have failed to defeat us militarily."

Imran was speaking to journalists outside his Islamabad residence as he was about to leave for Quetta to condole the deaths of security officials in Tuesday's militant attack on a police training centre.

The PTI chairman said that Pakistan's nuclear-armed arch rival did not want an inside political reform movement to succeed.

Claiming that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had become a "security risk" for the country, Imran said, "Whenever we plan to launch a reform movement against corruption in the country such terror attacks happen."

He questioned that why does our Prime Minister not raise his voice on global forums when Balochistan Chief Minister is saying that India was involved in sabotaging law and order in the province.

Imran added that Sharif had failed to raise the issue of Research and Analysis Wing's (RAW) terror financing in Pakistan and the arrest of its agent Kul Bhushan Yadav from Balochistan during his UN visit.

Claiming that Nawaz had become a security risk for the country in the current circumstance, The PTI chief said, "His only aim is to save himself from the repercussions of the revelations regarding his corruption in Panama leaks."

Imran demanded the government to highlight the names of those government officials who were involved in leaking the crucial information regarding a high-level security meeting in Islamabad.

Cricketer turned politician announced the cancellation of his Abbottabad visit which had been scheduled for Tuesday and said that he would now leave for Quetta to inquire the attack on the police training centre.

However, he clarified that there has been no change in his party's plan to lockdown Islamabad on November 2 in a protest against alleged corruption of Sharif family. (ANI)
