): At least half six persons were reportedly detained by the police in Kathmandu Valley for protesting against the state visit of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee
A staffer at the Kamalpokhari-based Metropolitan Police Circle said that "some" of the detainees have been kept at his office, reports the Himalayan Times.
According to sources, anti-corruption activist Sharada Bhausal
is one among the detainees.
Central spokesperson of Nepal Police, DIG Hemanta Malla Thakuri
, said the police headquarters had not received any report about the detention as yet.
Vehicles and as well as pedestrians were blocked from entering various roads of Kathmandu
