): The Sri Lanka
n government is planning to hold the National Anti-corruption Summit 2016 in Colombo on December 9, which will see the participation of about 700 local and foreign representatives.
The Cabinet has already approved a proposal in this regard tabled by the Minister of Law and Order and Southern Development, Sagala Ratnayake
, reports the Colombo Page.
The objective of the summit is to educate politicians, senior officers in the public and private sector, other relevant parties and the general public to create a corruption-free society, and to generate a discourse on eradicating bribes and corruption in society. (ANI
