): Victoria Beckham
has recently opened up about falling in love at first sight with husband David, her adolescence insecurities and her style evolution over the years.
While the world's famous couple's love story has been inspiration for several love birds across the world, the former 'Spice Girl' revealed it all started when she was drunk, reports Daily Mail.
In a unique letter addressed to her younger-self, the 42-year-old fashion designer revealed that she was drunk when she met and fell in love with her football ace spouse.
Reportedly for British Vogue
's October issue, the letter has the start of her love story followed by the insecurities she faced during teenage including the feeling of being 'plump' at 18.
David and Victoria's fairy tale love story started as the footballer famously revealed after watching her in the 'Spice Girls' video in 1996.
Shortly after that he declared,'' That's the girl for me and I'm going to get her! She's my idea of perfection. I knew that if she wanted me, we would be together forever.''
Following the announcement, the brunette beauty went to Manchester United to see the budding footballer play. In the letter she told she fell in love at first sight and the feelings were mutual.
''Learn more about football, especially the offside rule. And yes, love at first sight does exist. It will happen to you in the Manchester United players' lounge - although you will get a little drunk, so exact details are hazy, '' she said.
''While the other football players stand at the bar drinking with their mates, you will see David standing aside with his family. And he has such a cute smile. You, too, are close to your family, and you will think how similar he feels to you. He's going to ask for your number. (He still has the London-to-Manchester plane ticket on which you wrote it)," she added.
The couple tied the nuptial knot 1999 and are parents to four children, 17-year-old son Brooklyn, 14-year-old Romeo, Cruz aged 11 and a five-year-old daughter Harper.
Victoria also recalled her years at theatre school in Epsom, Surrey. Revealing her teenage issues, she admits at the age of 18, she felt "not the prettiest, or the thinnest".
Her impassioned note read: ''I know you are struggling right now. You are not the prettiest, or the thinnest, or the best at dancing at the Laine Theatre Arts College. You have never properly fitted in, although you are sharing your Surrey school digs with really nice girls. You have bad acne.
You think the Principal has put you at the back of the end-of-year show (in a humiliatingly bright purple Lycra leotard) because you are too plump to go at the front. (This may or may not be true.)''
In her comments to her younger self she gives a nod to her fashion icon status as urges young Victoria to realise she will mature and learn: ''You are going to have so much fun with your clothes - PVC catsuits; chokers that say absurd things; weird spiky blonde hair, '' she wrote. (ANI
