Pradesh tourism, expressed his wish to shoot a movie in the beautiful state.
The 43-year-old actor while mentioning about the Northeastern football team that he owns, said that he also wants to promote the local talent in
the film industry.
"I just told (state Tourism Secretary Joram) Dr Bedathat, I would like to take an entire film to Arunachal Pradesh and it is definitely very important to back the north eastern talent also. Also, I want to employ local talent not only in terms of actors but also in terms of shared employment in the industry," said the 'Force' star.
When John was asked what would be the one thing he wants to do the most in the north-east, John immediately said he is "too keen to go to
the Zero Music festival."
"There is something called Zero Festival and this is the first time I'll be going to the zero festival, however, this is something I really wanted to go to. I will plan my visit to the state at around that time and I will also meet my football team during the festival visit."
The actor also feels the region has been alienated, "Historically and geographically we have alienated the northeast from the rest of India. I think it's really sad. I think it's high time that we include the northeast in India."
