Washington DC, July 19 (ANI): American rock band Guns N' Roses was recently detained from entering Canada after a gun was found in the tour's convoy.

Addressing the matter during the band's gig in Toronto a couple of days later, lead singer Axl Roses Guns N' Roses told his audience, "Oh, yeah, we found a gun."

"We weren't exactly arrested, we were detained for a while," The Guardian quoted him as saying.

"They were very understanding," the 54-year-old American singer said about the border authorities.

Rose went on to deny that the gun was his.

"You know, it happens, it wasn't my gun," he said.

A representative of this band also confirmed that the gun did not belong to any member.

The band is presently on their 'Not In This Lifetime' tour. Next up, they will be making a stop in Massachusetts before heading to Brazil in November. (ANI)
