Ranbir Kapoor building people's 'own fan club' with 'Mumbai City FC'

New Delhi [India], Nov. 11 (ANI): Ranbir Kapoor, who co-owns ' Mumbai City Football Club', recently addressed the fans during the halftime of their match in Mumbai against Pune FC.

The 34-year-old actor expressed that the astounding attendance in the stadium, even on a working day, made him feel that the club is "building a fan club" with a support system that will "grow with the club, a club that the people will call their own."

In a video posted by RanbirKapoor.Net, the actor is seen cheering for his boys as he greets the audience, "Goodevening Mumbai city, thank you so much for coming here."

"It has been a successful campaign for us so far. Really grateful to coach Alex for bringing the structure, for bringing such a good team together. We still have some important games and some points to catch up on," he said.

On his club reaching the semi finals for the first time in the Indian Super League history, Ranbir said, "Our team has worked really hard this year so I don't wish, I know that we're gonna take the cup this year."

On the professional front, the 'Rockstar' actor recently starred in Karan Johar's latest film ' Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' which entered the 100 crore club at the box office.

The 'Barfi!' star will be seen next in 'Jagga Jasoos' starring opposite ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif.(ANI)
