Further speaking about his association with ' Mr Big,' the singer said, "Billy Sheehan (bass guitarist) gave me a call through a mutual friend of ours Mike Varney who ironically discovered Paul Gilbert (guitarist) and Richie Kotzen. The two of us enlisted Paul and Pat torpey (the greatest drummer in the world) to form a band. It was 1989; in one week of meeting and practicing we wrote our entire first album.
