Arrow premiere: Mayor Oliver pulls off epic chair fight

Updated: Oct 06, 2016 09:20 IST

Washington D.C. [USA], Oct. 6 (ANI): 'Arrow' recently premiered its fifth season where the arrow persona, Oliver Queen spins off a chair in an epic fight to save fellow cops kidnapped by evil Church.

During the season five premiere of American action television series, 'Arrow,' Queen was attacked during a ceremony meant to honor late Laurel with a new statue, reports E! Online.

Some evil dude named Church wanted to take the Arrow down having no clue that he already had him. Mayor Queen was zip tied to a chair and was being tortured by a cop.

However, the villain's pleasure did not last long as the Arrow quickly got out of his zip ties and had an epic chair fight with his attacker, before killing him, in order to protect his secret.

Following the incident, Queen begrudgingly agreed to work with a few people as a team for a new anti-crime unit, meant to take down crime in and out of the police department.

Unfortunately, that anti-crime unit might not be long for this world. One of the cops was attacked and killed on his way home by a new guy with a bow, an arrow, and a very frightening mask.

'Arrow' is a story about a multi-millionaire playboy Oliver Queen, who returns to his city after mastering the skills of archery on a deserted island. He takes on a vigilante persona of Arrow to fight crime and corruption.

The television series is based on the DC Comics character 'Green Arrow,' a costumed crime-fighter created by Mort Weisinger and George Papp. (ANI)
