Hollywood applauds Meryl Streep's Golden Globes Speech

Washington D.C. [USA], Jan. 9 (ANI): While accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award during this year's Golden Globes, veteran actress Meryl Streep used her time on stage to slam President-elect Donald Trump, without mentioning his name.

Following her speech, Hollywood took to social media to applaud Streep, including American actress, director, and singer Brie Larson who recognized her in an Instagram post.

"Fully sobbing. This is what a leader of truth, compassion and freedom for all looks like. Thank you #MerylStreep," read her caption.
