Radio Mirchi honours best of Punjabi Music at MMA Punjabi

New Delhi [India], Dec 26 (ANI): Radio Mirchi once again recognised and facilitated the talented artists of Punjabi music industry at 'Royal Stag Mirchi Music Awards Punjabi'.

In the third edition, Radio Mirchi honoured singers from various genres of Punjabi music - both film and non-film.

Hosted by the Nimrat Khaira and Amrit Mann, the awards witnessed outstanding performances by who's who of the Punjabi Music Industry including Diljit Dosajh, Baadshah, Guru Randhawa, Harbhajan Singh, Jazz Dhami, Fazilpuria, Shukh-e Nav Inder.

The awards night held in Chandigarh was charged up by Diljit Dosanjh's mirchidar songs like '5 Taara', 'Ik Kudi', and 'Mitra De Junction De!'

Diljit won Listeners Choice Song of the Year for both Film and Non-Film categories for 'Pagg Wala Munda' (Ambarsariya) and '5 Taara'.

Rapper Baadshah's foot tapping numbers got everyone moving with 'Kala Chashma', 'Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai' and 'DJ Waley Babu'.

Guru Randhawa's 'Patola', Nav Inder's 'Wakhra Swag' and last but not the least Malkit Singh's 'Tutak Tutak Tutiya' and' Gur Naal Ishq Mitha' all added glitter to the night.

Baadshah took away the Royal Stag Make It Large Award in this edition of MMA Punjabi.

Sharing his joy on the success of another edition of Royal Stag Mirchi Music Awards Punjabi, Mr. Nitin Singh, SVP & Regional Director, Radio Mirchi said "We feel absolutely delighted by receiving such an amazing response year after year from Punjabi music lovers. This year too we have been able to successfully deliver an outstanding event and we look forward to continue the momentum next year."

Present at the event, Mr. Bhanu Pratap Singh Chauhan, VP & Cluster Head, Radio Mirchi expressed his joy by saying "We are proud that we are able to touch the strings of our fans not only through on-air programs but also through on-ground events like Mirchi Music Awards Punjabi- Awards Night. The encouraging response received specially from our Punjabi music lovers motivates us to organise such power punch events and we hope to keep the zest going."
