continued his quest of clinching maiden China Open
title by battling past fellow countrymen Kyle Edmund
in the men's singles event here on Friday.
The Briton edged a tight first set in a tie-break and trailed 2-0 early in the second, but reeled off six games in a row to register a 7-6, (11-9), 6-2 win over Edmund in the last eight contest that lasted one hour and 49 minutes.
Murray will next face Spain's David Ferrer
in the semifinals for a place in the summit showdown. (ANI
