'Congress, TDP are sinking boats', says YSR Congress after by-poll results

   Mar 22, 8:23 pm

Hyderabad, Mar 22 (ANI): Reiterating that Congress and Telegu Desam Party (TDP) are sinking boats, YSR Congress on Thursday said the two parties were rejected by the people going by the results of the just concluded by-elections.

"The bravado of TDP saying that could at least field a candidate and campaign in Telangana and Congress stating that they fared better that the main opposition shows that that the two parties have been fast losing their sheen," party official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here.

He criticized the statement of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and state congress president BotsaSatyanarayana that they own moral responsibility to the debacle, and said: "Just owning responsibility is not enough; they should quit their respective positions to make it more credible. Right from Rahul Gandhi to Digvijay Singh every leader has been mouthing these words without giving full credence to the phrase."

Meanwhile, YSR Congress President, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, has said the Kovur verdict will repeat all over the State and the party will win 35 seats in the coming general elections. (ANI)
