New Delhi, Apr 12 (ANI): President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh have greeted the nation on the occasion of Vaisakhi, Vishu, Puthandu, Mesadi, Vaisakhadi and Bahag Bihu."On the joyous occasion of Vaisakhi, I extend my warm greetings and best wishes to all fellow citizens and to those in the farming communities across the nation and especially in Punjab," said President Pail in her message on the occasion of Vaisakhi."May this celebration strengthen us in our contributions to the nation's prosperity and remind us of the important role of farmers in our economy," she added.President Patil in her message on the occasion of Vishu, Rongali Bihu, Nutan Varsha, Vaiskhadi, Bahag Bihu, Puthandu Pirappu, Naba Barsha and Puthandu Pirappu, which are being celebrated on April 13 and 14, said: "May these festivals inspire us to strive for peace, harmony and amity and work for the unity and progress of our country."Vice
