BSP accuses SP for misgovernance

   May 10, 9:47 pm

New Delhi, May 10(ANI): Senior Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) leader and party General Secretary, Satish Chandra Mishra on Thursday accused the Uttar Pradesh (UP) government for misgovernance in the state, calling it a "jungle rule".

He stated this while addressing a news conference here.

"After the Samajwadi Party (SP) came to power in Uttar Pradesh, the law and order situation has deteriorated," Mishra said.

He added that thousands of cases involving murder and kidnapping were registered in just two months of SP's rule and women do not feel safe to go out at odd hours.

"Today in UP, women have stopped coming out of their homes in the evening. In case they have to travel, they leave their chains, earrings and other essential things at home and make it a point to return at the earliest in order to avoid any untoward incident," said Mishra.

He slammed SP for linking BSP and its chief in false cases.

"Whether it is the Central government or the state government, you (mediapersons) are aware that nobody appreciates the progress of BSP and the Mayawati. This is why, such issues are created," he said. (ANI)
