Mayawati refuses to disclose her party's choice for Presidential candidates

New Delhi, May 19 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati on Saturday refused to disclose her party's choice for the next Presidential candidates. "It will not be right to comment of the issue right now. We will disclose our candidates for the presidential elections only after the UPA and the NDA declare their candidates,"
Mayawati told media here. The dilemma over the nomination of President continued with the political parties remaining divided over a candidate's name.There have been reports that the Congress is reaching out to allies to arrive at a consensus on Vice President Hamid Ansari or Pranab Mukherjee for the coveted post.resident Pratibha Devisingh Patil's term ends on July 25 this year.
