Ajit Singh cancels US visit to deal with Air India pilots' strike

New Delhi, May 23 (ANI): Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh has cancelled the visit of a delegation led by him to Seattle and Charleston in the United States to take delivery of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft in view of the on-going Air India pilots' strike.

An official release said that Singh was scheduled to visit the U.S. with a delegation of officials and mediapersons from May 28 to 31.he release also clarified that the first Dreamliner would reach India by the end of this month as scheduled.

The clarification came after some media reports suggested that the delivery of the aircraft would be delayed. (ANI)
