Aarushi trial: Hearing deferred till June 8

Ghaziabad, June 4 (ANI): A special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court, which is conducting the trial of the Aarushi- Hemraj double murder, has deferred hearing of the case to June 8, as the local bar association struck work after a lawyer's death here on Monday.The court was scheduled to examine two prosecution witnesses, an electricity department official and a forensic expert in connection with the 2008 twin murder.Aarushi's parents and prime suspects, dentist couple Nupur and Rajesh Talwar were, earlier charged with murder and destruction of evidence by the court on May 24. The court's decision had come after the Talwars' counsel produced a golf club to dispute allegations that the couple used a similar club to kill Aarushi and Hemraj in the sensational twin murder.Earlier, on Thursday, the Allahabad High Court had rejected Dr. Nupur Talwar's bail plea, and charged her with murder and destruction of evidence.upur Talwar was arrested on April 30 and has been lodged in Ghaziabad's Dasna jail.arushi, 14, was found dead with her throat slit at her Noida residence on May 16, 2008 and the body of Hemraj was recovered from the terrace a day later.
