Mumbai/ Akola (Maharashtra), June 23 (ANI): Family and friends of Mohan More, the security guard who died in the Mantralaya inferno, have expressed grief over his death.

Family, friends and colleagues paid him tribute at the funeral held on Saturday in the Akola district of the state.

Two security personnel, Mohan More and Tukaram More, died on Friday as they reportedly refused to leave the floor while others were being evacuated.

More had been working in the office for the past 25 years.

A relative of More, Sachin expressed his surprise as none of the officials of the Chief Minister's office were concerned about the missing victim.

"We tried to search for Mohan More when the fire broke out but we failed to find him. All the family members were scared as the names of the victims were being flashed on the news channels. We are surprised that none of the staff members of the chief minister's office were speaking on the issue. We are finding it difficult to believe it. We visited various hospitals throughout the night, searching for him, but we did not find him," Sachin said.

The fire broke out on Thursday on the fourth floor of the Mantralaya, and spread to the sixth floor, which houses the office of Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan. (ANI)
