Amitabh's brother to canvass for Congress in UP civic polls

Allahabad, June 23 (ANI): Superstar Amitabh Bachchan's brother, Ajitabh, will canvass for the Congress party candidate Ravi Badhavn, in the ensuing civic polls here.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, Bachchan said the Congress party candidate was a close family friend.

"I have said that we (Ravi Badhavn and himself) are old friends and since he is contesting in elections, I am extending my support on basis of personal and family relationships. I would not like to make any political comment on this aspect," he said.

Expressing confidence in Badhavn, Bachchan said, "I would not like to comment on that issue (supporting Congress party) but I have full faith on Badhavn family's reliability and their efforts towards development of Allahabad city." (ANI)
