Team Anna supporters stage angry protests outside Sharad Pawar's residence

New Delhi, July 30 (ANI): As the indefinite hunger strike by anti graft crusader Anna Hazare
gathered steam, a group of young supporters held an aggressive protest outside the residence of Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, here on Monday.Protestors threw stones at Pawar's residence as police personnel deployed outside the gates tried to stop the demonstrators.Agitating protestors shouted slogans against Pawar as they sat on the ground to resist police personnel.The police personnel finally managed to contain the agitating protestors after several minutes of scuffle.Hazare began his indefinite fast against corruption on Sunday by joining Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia and Gopal Rai - who have been fasting since July 25.
Team Anna has demanded the setting up of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of retired judges of Supreme and High Courts, to probe charges of corruption against 15 cabinet ministers, including the Prime Minister.They have also sought the transferring of cases against political party chiefs, which are being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to the SIT, in addition to setting up fast track courts to dispose of cases against lawmakers within six months. U'khand CM Bahuguna thanks PM, Sonia, says 'immediate priority is rescue and evacuation'

New Delhi, June 19 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna on Wednesday thanked Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh for announcing 1,000 crore rupees relief and rehabilitation package for the flood-affected state, and said that the priority at the moment is to rescue those who are stranded and evacuate those who have to go out.
