Saina creates history, enters Olympics semis

London, Aug 2 (ANI): Ace shuttler Saina Nehwal advanced into the semi-finals of women's singles badminton here on Thursday, beating fifth seed and former world number one Tine Baun of Denmark 21-15,22-20, and became the first Indian to enter an Olympic semis.

Saina, 22, will face reigning world number one, China's Yihan Wang, in the semi-final on Friday.

In their last five encounters, Saina has never managed to beat Wang. (ANI)
