Sydney, July 12 (ANI): The head of embattled BlackBerry maker Research In Motion's (RIM) Australian and New Zealand operations has resigned just months after being promoted to the job. Ray Gillenwater
, who was promoted to managing director of RIM in Australia in April, left the firm to pursue other interests.According to The Sydney Morning Herald, Gillenwater has become the latest senior executive to depart since Thorsten Heins took over as the BlackBerry maker's CEO.RIM is quietly cleaning out layers of management under Heins, who himself replaced longtime co-CEOs Mike Lazaridis and Jim Balsillie in January.According to the report, Matthew Ball, who joined the company a year ago to manage its
