Islamabad, Jan 16 (ANI): Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Khwaja Asif said Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani had the right to sack Defence Secretary and the Army functions under him.

Khwaja Asif said the position of Prime Minister had a sanctity, but PM Gilani did not care much about preserving it.

"The sanctity of the (PM's) position must remain intact,"

He said his party was not in favor of army interference.

Khwaja Asif said Shahbaz Sharif had demanded PM's apology from the people.

"The defence secretary turns a blind eye to the rules and regulations when a prime minister gets handcuffed," he regretted. (ANI)
