China, U.S. to hold third CPE in Beijing

Beijing, April 23 (Xinhua-ANI): The third annual China-U.S. Consultation on People-to-People Exchange (CPE) will be held in Beijing from May 3 to 4, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin said on Monday.

Liu made the announcement at a regular press briefing.

He said State Councilor Liu Yandong and U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will attend and co-host the plenary meeting.

According to the spokesman, working consultations, the China- U.S. Student Exchange Forum and talks between the education commissioners of both countries will be held during the CPE. (Xinhua-ANI)
