Trump says GOP ad claiming Obama 'too cool to be President' 'worst ad ever'

   Apr 28, 5:33 pm

Washington, Apr 28 (ANI): American businessman Donald Trump has slammed a Republican ad targeting US President Barack Obama for being too cool, calling it one of the worst commercials he had ever seen.

"I thought it was one of the worst commercials, in terms of what they were trying to do, that I've ever seen," Politico quoted Trump, as saying.

"They are making Obama look great. They are making him look like that's the man we want to be president. I looked at that clip very closely, and actually, I couldn't believe it," he added.

Trump was speaking about an American Crossroads advertisement that suggested Obama is too cool for the presidency.

Donny Deutsch, an American advertising executive and television personality, had earlier praised the advertisement, calling it "very compelling."

Trump, however, disagreed with it very strongly.

"I heard him [Deutsch] talking favorably about the ad that was put out essentially by the Republicans, and I thought it was a terrible ad," Trump said.

"It made Obama bigger than life. It made him to be the super celebrity, which I don't happen to think he is," he added. (ANI)
