French artist depicts human rights violations in Balochistan

Grenoble (France), May 24 (ANI): A weeklong arts presentation showcasing human rights violation in Balochistan by Pakistan has been organized in Grenoble city in France from May 22 at the" Cafe echange" le Nicodem. Baloch Voice Foundation/Association, an NGO, has organized the presentation to provide a window to the situations of Baloch region and initiate a discourse on it. The French have welcomed this initiative and have extended support. Mr. Bettler, a well-known artist, writer, and musician in Grenoble, said: "An artist is always very sensitive, but tries to get in depth, the same thing happened to me, after discussions of hours with Mr. Munir Mengal(Coordinator for the event) and then digging down to the realities, my eyes got filled with tears. At once I shouted, Mr. Mengal I am with you and to the victimized Baloch people".Another American student supporting the extravaganza added that they were unaware of how the American state is supporting Pakistan, which he described as an immoral state. He also claimed that American funds and guns are being used against humanity.unir Mengal, the coordinator of the event, said that he was expecting huge crowds from all walks of life. The Baloch Voice Foundation/Association is working hard for the interests of its people and is trying to save thousands of Balochis who have gone missing, including more than 250 females and kids. Baloch Voice Foundation/Association activists want the international community to raise their voices against human right violations in Balochistan and defeat the oppressors through their pens and voice.Balochistan is spread over nearly 348,000 square kilometers in terms of area. It has a population of 8,000,000 and has been occupied by Pakistan since March 27, 1948.A 100,000 soldiers and officers of paramilitary Frontier Crop (FC) control all the information coming in and out of Baloochistan and keep a tight scrutiny on any international media coverage of the region. The province matches the size of France, butdoes not have its kind of freedom. The Baloch have an age-old culture, language and secular identity. (ANI)
