Krishna to raise issue of stranded Indian traders with Chinese FM

Beijing, June 6 (ANI): External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna on Wednesday said that he would be raising the issue of the two Indian traders stranded in Yiwu during his meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Yang Jeichi tomorrow"Well, I had a very good meeting with the two traders and they conveyed the position as they see it and then I did tell them that tomorrow I will be meeting the distinguished Foreign Minister, and I certainly will take up this issue with him," he told media here.Earlier, Krishna met the two Indian traders, Shyam Sunder Agrawal and Deepak Raheja, who have been stranded in Yiwu after being caught in a business dispute. This is his second meeting with them. Krishna earlier met them during his visit in February this year.
Krishna, who is presently in Beijing to attend the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), met Chinese Vice Premier Li Kaqiang here earlier today during which the two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest. By Mrityunjay Singh (ANI)
