Islamabad, June 7 (ANI): Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry has stepped down from the bench hearing the suo motu notice over allegations that his son, Arsalan Iftikhar , had received Rs 300 to 400 million from the owner of Bahria Town. Chaudhry took this decision during hearing of the case.

Earlier during Wednesday's hearing, a visibly disturbed chief justice vowed to deal strictly in accordance with the law if Arsalan was found guilty, reports The Nation.
