Pakistani human rights activist Farzana Bari has said the identities of the two girls presented before the fact-finding commission, constituted by the apex court to probe the Kohistan video scandal, are controversial.Bari said she is not sure about the identity of the two Kohistani girls, who were presented before the commission, reports the Daily Times.Five women, including an 'accomplice', and two men were sentenced to death after a video emerged of them singing and clapping at a village wedding. The man and women were declared 'ghul' ( fornicators
) and were accused of defying Kohistani customs and bringing shame to their community."I recognised the girls on my last visit," Bari said, adding that although the video had been recorded two years ago, their faces could not have changed much in just two years. Residents of the area, however, have denied having the knowledge of any such incident of ' honour killing'. (ANI)
