Just 1 in 3 Americans correctly identify Obama as Christian: Poll

Washington, June 23 (ANI): Just one in three Americans know that President Barack Obama is a Christian, according to a new poll.

The Gallup poll revealed that 34 percent identified Obama as Christian, Protestant or a related denomination, Baptist, Methodist or United Church of Christ.

Eleven percent said Obama is Muslim, including 18 percent of Republicans, 12 percent of independents and three percent of Democrats, Politico reports.

According to the survey, eight percent of Americans said Obama has no religion.

Forty-four percent said they did not know what is his religion. (ANI)
