Obama campaign cashes in on healthcare ruling with new tee slogan 'HEALTH REFORM STILL A BFD'

   Jun 30, 4:48 pm

Washington, June 30 (ANI): After the landmark ruling of the US Supreme Court on President Barack Obama's Affordable Care Act, the Obama campaign has launched a new t-shirt that says, "HEALTH REFORM STILL A BFD."

According to the New York Daily News, the cheeky abbreviation refers to Vice President Joe Biden 's hot-mic moment in 2010 when Obama signed health reform into law. As Biden gave Obama a congratulatory hug at the podium, he was overheard telling him: "This is a big f---ing deal".

For a self-consciously historic figure, the ruling allows Obama to argue that he has delivered on the most cherished goal of his 2008 campaign: "Change we can believe in", ABC News reports.

New methods of campaigning for the coveted November elections among the presidential post contenders seem to be gaining momentum, with the Obama clan finding more and new ways to garner revenue with their new ideas, following their series of celebrity-struck lavish fundraisers.

The Obama campaign's new t-shirt is priced at 30 dollars. (ANI)
