Syrian defense minister killed, senior ministers wounded in Damascus bombing

Damascus, July 18 (Xinhua-ANI): Syrian Defense Minister Daoud Rajha was killed and some other senior officials wounded on Wednesday in a suicide bombing that tore through the National Intelligence compound in the capital Damascus , the state TV said.

The blast occurred at the time when some ministers and intelligence chiefs were having a meeting in the targeted building. (Xinhua-ANI)
