Pakistan Army rejects Afghan rocket shelling accusation

Islamabad, July 23 (ANI): The Pakistan Army has rejected Afghan allegations that its troops fired 400 rockets across border into Afghanistan, terming it as 'misleading'.According to a army official, Pakistani troops pursue and target only those militants and areas from where they are attacked/fired upon, reports The Dawn.Though Kabul had not directly accused the Pakistani Army of being responsible, a spokesman of Afghanistan's Kunar Province, Wasifullah Wasifi, said over 300 heavy artillery shells and rockets were fired from Pakistan into Dangam district of eastern Kunar province
on Friday and Saturday, killing at least four people.Afghan officials had also added that both Afghan and Pakistani Taliban militants were operating in the Pak-Afghan border area. Afghanistan's Deputy Foreign Minister Jawed Ludin on Sunday summoned
