JI chief tells Pakistan to ditch America's 'terror war'

   Aug 7, 5:32 pm

Karachi, Aug 7 (ANI): Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan chief Syed Munawar Hasan has said walking away from the American 'terror war' is in the best interest of Pakistan.

In order to ensure a free foreign policy, Hasan advocated that Pakistan should ditch this terror war, adding it would also result in stopping of the CIA operated drone attacks, and resolving the Kashmir issue.

Hasan urged the Pakistani army not to launch a military operation in North Wazirstan on the behest of America, adding that such an action would not provide any solution to the country's problems, just like failed military operations in the past, reports The Express Tribune.

The operation, Hasan said, was America's plan to destabilise Pakistan. (ANI)
