Zardari forms 3-member committee to end Hindus' predicament in Sindh

Islamabad, Aug 11 (ANI): Pakistan President Asif Zardari has formed a three-member committee for ending the difficulties and insecurity issues faced by Hindu families in the Sindh province of the nation.

The president reportedly ordered the committee members to visit various parts of Sindh and express solidarity with the Hindus on his and the government's behalf.

According to the Daily Times, Zardari's spokesperson said that the committee consisted of Senator Hari Ram, MNA Lal Chand and Law Minister Maula Bukhsh Chandio.

In a statement, President Zardari reiterated commitment of the government to protect the rights of the minorities in Pakistan and "to draw them fully in the mainstream of national life."

The spokesman claimed that a proper investigation was going on, over the various allegations that had surfaced in the media regarding the mass migration of over 200 Hindus from Sindh to India. (ANI)
