Hugh Jackman bonds with crew by giving away lottery tickets

Washington, Sept 19 (ANI): Actor Hugh Jackman has revealed that he bonds with his cast and crew of his movies by giving away lottery tickets.

The 'X-Men' star encourages the entire crew to gamble so that they feel more relaxed before they start rolling the camera.

"I buy 500 lottery tickets of whichever country I happen to be in and I hand them out to all the crew and the cast; they all get a chance of winning the Jackman jackpot," Contactmusic quoted him as saying.

"When I was starting out on films in Oz (Australia), everyone knew everyone else on the set, it was very relaxed. Then about 12 years ago I made my first film in Hollywood and it was very different, a lot of new faces," he said.

"I didn't want to do the big politician bit and wander around introducing myself which would have made me look a bit of a s**thead, so I came up with the lottery ticket giveaway. That broke the ice and we all established a sort of instant link. I've kept on doing it over the years," he added. (ANI)
