Mel B is enjoying motherhood with Stephen Belafonte

London, Sept 20 (ANI): Melanie Brown has revealed that she is enjoying parenthood for the third time, as she finally has a supportive partner in her husband Stephen Belafonte.

Melanie, 36, who recently gave birth to her third daughter Madison, raised her elder daughters Angel and Phoenix on her own after her first marriage to Jimmy Gulzar and her brief romance with Eddie Murphy didn't work out.

According to Hello! magazine, the former Spice Girls member admitted that she now enjoys family life much more because Belafonte is there to support her.

"Ideally you want to have your loving partner who you've created this baby with by your side throughout everything, and in Angel and Phoenix's cases, that wasn't the set up" the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

"I had a rocky marriage with Phoenix's dad. The relationship with Angel's dad, Eddie, was over halfway through the pregnancy, and I had to suck it up and get on with it.

"This time I've done it with my partner - someone to come to every prenatal appointment with me, to get excited by every scan - and it feels like I've finally done it right," she added.

The singer also disclosed that she relished the attention Belafonte lavished on her when she was pregnant. (ANI)
