New video shows Russell Brand taking off his wedding ring in Nov

New York, Jan 11 (ANI): A recent video that shows Russell Brand jokingly taking off his wedding ring in November, has made people wonder if he wasn't actually kidding, as just six weeks after the video was shot, he filed for divorce from Katy Perry.

The latest video was shot while filming a comedy bit, just two weeks after his one-year wedding anniversary with Perry.

In the video, which the 36-year-old recorded to promote a weeklong tour of American colleges in mid-November, the British comic makes a big show of slipping his wedding band off his ring finger.

"I am going to meet people from sororities and fraternities. I don't know what a sorority is except for what I have seen on [porn site] Nudevista-that they are sort of sex clubs for women," the New York Post quoted him as saying.

As Brand takes off his ring, he says that he would place it safely somewhere.

"I'm just going to place this somewhere very, very safe for the next week," he added. (ANI)
