Whitney Houston's aide admits to clearing hotel room before police arrived

   Mar 28, 11:13 am

London, Mar 28 (ANI): Whitney Houston's aide Raffles Van Exel has confessed to clearing the room she died in, before the police arrived.

The self-described entertainment consultant admitted he carried out the action to Dutch Telegraph newspaper, saying, "Someone had to do it."

However he stopped short of saying exactly what he removed from the suite, an important omission following claims cocaine had been removed from the scene.

Celebuzz revealed he made the confession in an interview with the respected Netherlands newspaper just four days following Houston's death, where he also said, 'The room had to be emptied.'

On his Twitter page van Exel touts himself as a European actor, music consultant and producer, and that he is a "highly respected entertainment consultant having guided some of the world greatest", the Daily Mail reported.

He was also friendly with pop prince Michael Jackson before his untimely passing in 2009.

It had previously been claimed Houston's drug dealer had eliminated all traces of cocaine from the singer's room after finding her drowned in the bath.

The Coroner's Office say the pop star used cocaine "not probably too much before she collapsed."

However no traces of any illegal drugs were found in her hotel room when investigators conducted their search, it's also being claimed that bed sheets were missing. (ANI)
