Miley Cyrus in talks to become 'X Factor' judge

Washington, May 2 (ANI): Miley Cyrus is in talks to join Simon Cowell's US version of ' The X Factor', according to reports.

The 'Climb' hitmaker has reportedly been approached by Cowell's team and is said to be in negotiations to take one of the two places on the judging panel left vacant after the departure of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul.

"There have been talks with Miley," Contactmusic quoted a source as telling Celebuzz.

If Cyrus, 19, does take up the role she will join Simon, L.A. Reid and most likely Britney Spears, on the show.

Simon has previously confirmed talks with Britney, saying: "I would love to have her on the show ... I think she would be a fascinating person to sit next to." (ANI)
